Carson Valley Medical Center sponsors scoreboard at Douglas County Community Center

Carson Valley Medical Center, a strong supporter of the Douglas County Community & Senior Center has renewed their pledge again to be the Douglas County Community Services Foundation 2017 Naming Rights sponsor for all eight scoreboards in the Douglas County Community Center gymnasium located on Waterloo Lane in Gardnerville.
All youth, adults and their families who spend time in the gym for hundreds of healthy activities will see all eight scoreboards proudly sponsored by Carson Valley Medical Center with reminders for healthy lifestyle choices. Carson Valley Medical Center has provided a financial donation that supports the programs at the Center with their 2017 Naming Rights sponsorship.
“Carson Valley Medical Center, whose mission is to care for your health and wellness, has identified the Douglas County Community & Senior Center as the hub for interaction and wellness activities in our community. We are so proud to be a supporter of this facility,” said Shannon Albert, Director of Development and Outreach, Carson Valley Medical Center.
Carson Valley Medical Center (CVMC): located in Gardnerville, Nevada is YOUR COMMUNITY HOSPITAL, providing quality healthcare to the residents of Carson Valley and surrounding areas. With a partnership of Barton Healthcare System of South Lake Tahoe and Renown Health of Reno, CVMC is a non-profit state accredited critical access hospital with 23 licensed patient beds.
The Foundation and community are grateful to have Carson Valley Medical Center as a partner in supporting the health activities of all ages that enter the Community & Senior Center every day. The Douglas County Community Services Foundation was formed in 2011 to support community and senior centers in Douglas County at the lake and in the valley. The main emphasis was to support the construction of the new Douglas County Community & Senior Center and its ongoing equipment and facility needs. The Foundation is a non-profit 501(C)(3) corporation to provide funding for additional and ongoing improvements to the Community & Senior Center with the maximum amount of accountability. The Foundation also acts as a liaison between the government of Douglas County and private donors to maximize and meet private donor’s wishes.
