South Lake Tahoe woman in custody after allegedly taking a shot at man inside home

A South Lake Tahoe woman was taken into custody on Saturday afternoon after apparently firing a shot at a man inside a home in the 2600 block of Knox Street.
The man, who was not injured, reported to police that the woman shot at him during an argument and then locked herself in room filled with weapons and ammunition, according to police scanner traffic.
The call came into police dispatch at around 3:15 p.m. The surrounding neighborhood streets of Carson, Knox and Reno were blocked to traffic and people outside were told to go inside or leave the area. Several people gathered behind the police barricade as the events unfolded.

South Lake Tahoe Police officers and El Dorado County deputies surrounded the house, where the woman came outside at around 3:40 p.m. and was arrested.
