Bank of America in South Lake Tahoe closed this week due to staffing issues

If you went to the South Lake Tahoe branch of Bank of America on Wednesday, you may have found the doors locked and a sign on the window telling you they were closed until Monday.

A Bank of America representative, Colleen Haggerty, the SVP of media relations, told South Tahoe Now the bank plans on reopening Monday, April 27.

"Due to staffing issues, we decided to temporarily close our financial center in South Lake Tahoe this morning through the rest of the week," said Haggerty Wednesday. "We plan to reopen by Monday, if not sooner. We apologize for the inconvenience this may create for clients in the community."

Customers can still use the self-service options such as mobile and online banking for most banking needs as well as their ATMs at the financial center and others located a few miles away at the Y. Clients can also monitor financial center operating hours and closures using their BofA app or at bankofamerica.com
