Connie Wentz ~ Feb. 19, 1943 - May 10, 2017

Connie Wentz, age 74 of Gardnerville, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2017. She was born February 19, 1943 to Frank and Betty Jean Merrill.

Connie was raised in South Lake Tahoe where she met her husband, Thomas Wentz. They dated throughout junior and senior high school, and had been married for 46 years at the time of his death in 2006.

Connie loved gardening, cooking, traveling, her dogs, and spending time with her friends and family.

She is survived by her loving companion of the last 7 years, Tim Murray of Gardnerville; son Mike (Trisha) Wentz of Minden; daughter Kelli (Todd) Marshall of Carson City; brother Ken (Phyllis) Merrill of Rescue, Ca; sister Bonnie Posten of Montana, 8 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

Connie wanted her family to know how proud she is of them, and wanted to express how grateful she was to her many life-long frinds.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
