Prevent identity theft and get your documents shredded at the South Tahoe High Booster Club's fundraiser on Friday, May 19 at the American Legion Parking Lot from noon to 4:00 p.m.
For just $10 a box, your documents will be securely shredded. Plus, your donation is tax deductible!
The Booster Club gave the $20,000 earned at the last year's golf tournament back to the students through grants for 20 sports teams. Those funds went to tournament entry fees, uniforms, equipment and much more.
As with much of the winter, it snowed during this year's tournament on May 6-7 at Edgewood Tahoe and the fundraiser had to be canceled after just a few hours of play on the first day. The tournament annually raises thousands of dollars for both South Tahoe and Whittel High School athletics.
The help out the Booster Club so they can continue their assistance next school yer, bring by a box or two, or ten, to the American Legion on Friday. The club asks if you can help spread the word.
