City of South Lake Tahoe 50th Anniversary Event: Parks & Recreation Open House

As part of a year long 50th anniversary celebration, the City of South Lake Tahoe is holding a joint open house celebration at the Recreation Center, Lake Tahoe Historical Museum and Lake Tahoe Visitor's Center on Saturday, June 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This free event is open to everyone at the three adjacent properties.

At the SLT Recreation Center, the annual Spring into Summer Party will celebrating our annual Spring into Summer party where you can take a tour of the recreation center, sign up for South Tahoe Adventure Recreation (STAR) Summer camp, enroll in swim lessons, enjoy refreshments and more! The Recreation and Swim Complex is located at 1180 Rufus Allen Blvd. For more information call (530) 542-6056.

The Lake Tahoe Historical Museum is open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Enjoy the free exhibits and treats. It is located at 3058 Lake Tahoe Blvd.

The Lake Tahoe Visitor's Center located at 3066 Lake Tahoe Blvd will also participate in the local celebration.
