Day in Paradise and Duck Races return to Tahoe Paradise Park

The annual South Lake Tahoe Optimist Club Day in Paradise is fun for the whole family and returns to Tahoe Paradise Park on Saturday, June 15 from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

It is a whole day jam-packed with fun starting off with a pancake breakfast from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Then their famous Duck Races being on the Upper Truckee River at the park. There is also a Car & Truck Show and Shine, kid's game with prizes, free live music from noon to 6:00 p.m., a beer and wine garden, a luau with a roasted pig and a silent auction.

Admission is free.

Community members have been decorating their special ducks for the race and the public can buy the small plastic ducks to race. One Quack is $5 or 6 Quacks are $20. Prizes go to the winning ducks.
