South Tahoe High Sports Medicine students were able to earn four college credits this year for earning their certifications in Emergency Medical Response and CPR for the Professional Rescuer, the highest CPR certification possible.
Due to a partnership with Lake Tahoe Community College, 69 Sports Medicine 1 students were able to get a head start on their college education, plus. LTCC paid for the students' certification fees through a grant.
"A big THANK YOU goes out to Brad Deeds and Jamie Rhone at LTCC for providing an opportunity for our STHS sports medicine students," said Isaiah Tannaci, the STHS
