LTWC holds Baseball for Bears night with the Reno Aces

Event Date:
July 22, 2015 - 7:00pm

Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care (LTWC) is holding their first "Baseball for Bears" night at the Reno Aces game against the Albuquerque Isotopes on July 22 at 7:05 p.m.

A special block of seats in right field have been reserved for friends of the South Lake Tahoe non-profit whose function is to raise, rehabilitate and release orphaned and injured wild birds and animals.

Here are the instructions from LTWC Secretary and Treasurer, Tom Milham:

Go to our web site (http://www.ltwc.org/?p=1621). Click on the "Buy Now" button. The tickets are $12 each. If we sell between 101 and 200 tickets, LTWC receives $5 per ticket sold. When we sell that 201st ticket, we then receive $6 from each ticket sold from the Aces, plus other incentives. After you make the purchase, you will receive, via mail, a voucher for each ticket you purchased. Don't worry if you do not receive it in time, as I will create a database and you can still get your tickets. When you arrive at the ballpark on the 22nd (game time is 7:05pm), we will have a table at the main entrance, directly behind home plate on 2nd Street (250 Evans Ave.). You will pick up your entrance tickets there. If you don't bring your voucher, no problem, you will be on our database.

LTWC Board members have a wager going on to see how many tickets will sell. Milham has his money on "Over 201." Help the agency support the animals they care for, and for their expansion efforts. Help them make this first LTWC Night at the Reno Aces a very successful one and hopefully make it an annual event. This will also be on our Facebook Page (Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care).

Should you have any questions, please feel to email Tom Milham at tom@ltwc.org or call him at 530-577-2273. PLAY BALL!!!!
