Brit phenomenon Russell Brand at MontBleu

Event Date:
July 27, 2013 - 9:00pm

Brit-bending humor mashed with acerbic pop culture shots extending coast to coast and across-the-pond will land at Lake Tahoe, July 27, when comedic actor Russell Brand takes the stage at Lake Tahoe’s MontBleu Resort, Casino and Spa.

The evening promises plenty of potty-mouth pranking, self-deprecating barbs and wicked rantings to match Brand's signature big hair in this one-night-only, laughter-fueled romp on the MontBleu Theater stage. The mature-audience-only show begins at 9 p.m. with tickets at $55 to $75 available through Ticketmaster.com or the MontBleu Box office, 888-829-7630.

Since his breakout as the debaucherous rock god Aldous Snow in the 2008 comedy "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," Brand and his eccentric sense of humor have taken North America by storm in movies, TV shows, as guest host of Saturday Night Live and standup acts. As a singer, Brand performed in the closing ceremony of the 2012 Olympic Games singing "Pure Imagination" from "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory" and The Beatles song, "I Am the Walrus."

Once a hard-living actor known for his problems and high-profile relationships, Brand will take the stage, make fun of himself and the world around him while providing wry observations with twists, turns and flights into the absurd.
