South Lake Tahoe forecast: Sunny with chance of thunderstorms to start off the week

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Thunderstorms are expected to move into western Nevada and northeast California Monday and Tuesday, with increasing breezes bringing fire
concerns Tuesday and Wednesday. Daytime temperatures will be near to just above normal this week, with a period of cooler morning lows mid to late week as drier air moves in. There is another chance of isolated thunder storms moving in Friday-Sunday

Monday - Scattered showers and thunderstorms after 11am. Increasing clouds, with a high near 85. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Monday Night - Scattered showers and thunderstorms before 11pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 49. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Tuesday - A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 82. Light southwest wind becoming west 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.

Tuesday Night - Clear, with a low around 43. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Wednesday - Sunny, with a high near 83. Light southwest wind becoming west 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.

Wednesday Night - Clear, with a low around 41.

Thursday - Sunny, with a high near 82.
