Sunny and warm week ahead for South Lake Tahoe

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Dry conditions, a gradual warming trend, and typical afternoon breezes are expected through Wednesday in the Lake Tahoe area. According to the National Weather Service, weather conditions will be great for viewing the peak of the Perseid meteor shower tonight and Monday night, but the nearly full moon will, unfortunately, wash out many of the dimmer meteors.
