LTCC Foster Kinship Care Education Program starts new year of free presentations

The Lake Tahoe Community College, Foster Kinship Care Education Program offers presentations that are free and open to the community. The fall quarter is starting off with a series of Community Resource presentations. The public is invited to attend and hear about all of the services offered in the community.
Presentations will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Lake Tahoe Community College in the Creekside Room. The presentation on September 24 will be in Room E-106. Here’s the lineup:
September 5: California Children’s Services, Pediatric Occupational Therapy; CARD-serving 18-year-olds to adults on the Autism Spectrum; Early Head Start and The Infant Parent Center
September 10: Big Brothers and Big Sisters; SOS Outreach; Tahoe Climbing Coalition; Children’s Art Therapy and the Boys and Girls Club
September 17: Choices for Children; The Family Resource Center; HUB and El Dorado County Library
September 24: CASA; Lake Tahoe Community College Equity Program; Lake Tahoe Unified School District Homeless Advocate
October 1: A Balanced Life; El Dorado County Behavioral Health; the National Alliance on Mental Illness; Sierra Child and Family Services; Tahoe Youth and Family Services
