Event Date:
October 3, 2019 - 3:30pm

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Clean Tahoe is hosting an event on Thursday afternoon with South Lake Tahoe native and Olympian Jamie Anderson, Don't Talk Trash - Pick It Up Scavenger Hunt.

On October 3 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., join the community at Lakeside Beach and participate in a trash pick up. Be at the beach at 3:30 p.m. to get supplies and scorecards. The fun begins at 3:50 p.m. and all have exactly one hour to clean the beach and neighborhood. Prizes will then be handed out.

No need to RSVP, just show up and have fun while helping the environment.

This event leads up to the local premiere of Jamie Anderson's Movie, Unconditional at Hard Rock Lake Tahoe Thursday night in their room Vinyl which features scenes from Japan, British Columbia and Sierra-at-Tahoe. Doors open at 7 p.m., show starts at 8:00 p.m. This free show is for 21-year-old and over.

Growing up in Sierra at Tahoe Jaime started snowboarding at the age of 9. By the age of 13 she competed in her first Winter X Games and at age 16 become the youngest female winner. After dominating competitions worldwide including gold medals in the 2014 and 2018 Winter Olympics for slopestyle she is now showing us her skills as an all mountain rider. Unconditional offers a look at Jamie’s past season stepping away from competition and focusing on the mountains and the freestyle spirit that unconditionally binds her to snowboarding. What we get is serious next level backcountry action from Japan, BC and Alaska as well as slushy sunset park bangers at her native Sierra at Tahoe.
