No on Measure T leads 2018 campaign donations and expenses in South Lake Tahoe

At the first required filing of campaign paperwork, South Lake Tahoe City Council candidates raised just over $47,000 for the 2018 election season. Mayor Wendy David's $13,499 led candidates, which included a $10,000 loan to get her campaign started. Funds raised by a group formed to challenge Measure T, which bans vacation home rentals in the City outside the tourist core area, has raised $270,112.77 with most of it coming from the National Association of Realtors, local realtors and companies associated with the rentals.

All South Lake Tahoe City Council candidates and what the raised and spent at the September 27 deadline:

Cody Bass - Raised $4,138 and spent $2,548.28

Hal Cole - Raised $12,596 including a $12,000 loan and spent $4,896.49
Wendy David - Raised $13,499 including a $10,000 loan and spent $4,000
Tom Davis - Raised $2,786 and spent $747.53
Bruce Grego - Raised $4393.88 and spent $1,647.70
Patrick Jarrett - No income or expenses
Devin Middlebrook - $5,317 and spent $5,213.33
Austin Sass - Raised $2008.78 in cash and $500 nonmonetary and spent $1,490
Tamara Wallace - Raised $2276 including a $1,280 loan and spent $857.50

No on T Campaign - Raised $270,112.77 and spent 212,288.94
Yes on T Campaign - No income or expenses

City Clerk and City Treasurer candidates have no reported donations or expenses at this time.
