Time for Barton's Cheeseballs and Holiday Faire

Kick off the holiday season at the 44th Annual Holiday Faire. On Sunday, November 9, community members and visitors of all ages are encouraged to attend this merry event.

Barton Auxiliary volunteers and employees from The Attic, Barton’s thrift store, have selected their favorite holiday and winter donations to sell. Treasures available for purchase will include jewelry, crystal, antiques and collectibles, holiday decorations, winter wear, vintage dolls, purses, and other gift items.

“The Holiday Faire is a fun place for the community to come together and support a good cause,” says Toni Koffman, a Barton Auxiliary volunteer. “We have been picking out the best items all year and are pleased to have more items for sale than last year.”

Toni Koffman has co-chaired the event with Barton Auxiliary volunteer, Pat Lacey, for the past three years. Both women are regular volunteers at The Attic and donate their time to put on the Faire.

The Holiday Faire will take place between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. at the St. Theresa Grace Hall on the corner of Lyons Ave and Highway 50. Santa Claus will make a guest appearance between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.. Lunch, bake sale items, and Barton’s famous cheese balls will also be available for purchase.

All proceeds benefit Barton Memorial Hospital. Since 1960, the Barton Memorial Hospital Auxiliary have been an active group of volunteers who generously give their time and talents to support Barton Memorial Hospital, its patients, and the community.
