More pet supplies being collected in South Lake Tahoe for Camp Fire victims

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Just as people are responding to those left homeless in the devastating Camp Fire in the town of Paradise, concerned citizens are also taking care of pets with those who were evacuated as well as those who have yet to be reunited with their owners.

Several trips have already been made by South Lake Tahoe locals to the camps in areas near Paradise both for humans and pets.

Another local campaign to gather pet supplies for all of the displaced pets has been started. Organizers are looking for dog and cat beds, crates of all sizes, leashes, harnesses, collars, food (both wet and dry), sweaters/jackets to keep them warm, litter, litter boxes and scoopers, potty pads, wet wipes, Lysol wipes, paper towels, water, poop bags, blankets, towels, gift cards, payments towards vet bills as well as anything those donating can think of for pets.
