Chain controls up in the Sierra as storm moves through

The forecasted storm hit the Lake Tahoe area starting Sunday evening, and is now moving on. A Winter Storm Advisory is in place until 10:00 a.m. Monday. The week ahead should be clear and sunny and cold with a new storm coming in next Saturday.
As of 8:30 a.m. the following chain controls are in place. For up to the minute reports, visit http://quickmap.dot.ca.gov/ in California and http://nvroads.com/ in Nevada.
Twin Bridges to Meyers on Highway 50
Chains or traction devices are required on all vehicles except four wheel/ all wheel drive vehicles with snow-tread tires on all four wheels. (Four wheel/all wheel drive vehicles must carry traction devices in chain control areas).
Luther Pass to Christmas Valley on SR-90
Chains or traction devices are required on all vehicles except four wheel/ all wheel drive vehicles with snow-tread tires on all four wheels. (Four wheel/all wheel drive vehicles must carry traction devices in chain control areas).
Ebrights to Emerald Bay on SR-89
Chains or traction devices are required on all vehicles except four wheel/ all wheel drive vehicles with snow-tread tires on all four wheels. (Four wheel/all wheel drive vehicles must carry traction devices in chain control areas).
Bliss State Park to Tahoe City on SR-89
Chains are required on all vehicles except passenger vehicles and light-duty trucks under 6,000 pounds gross weight and equipped with snow tires on at least two drive wheels. Chains must be carried by vehicles using snow tires. All vehicles towing trailers must have chains on one drive axle. Trailers with brakes must have chains on at least one axle.
Kingvale to Donner Lake on I-80

Chains or Snow Tires Required - on US-50 from mile post 0.0 in Carson City County to mile post 4.5 in Carson City County in Nevada.
Mt. Rose Highway SR-431
Chains or Snow Tires Required - on SR-431 from Fairview Boulevard to Bulls Eye in Nevada.
Kingsbury Grade SR-207
Chains or Snow Tires Required - on SR-207 from mile post 0.0 in Douglas County to mile post 7.0 in Douglas County in Nevada.
