The following is the ski, snowboard and weather report for Sunday, December 13, 2015 for South Lake Tahoe.

Weather - South Lake Tahoe will have a high of 38 and a low of 17. Day: Rain and snow, becoming all snow after 11am. Temperature falling to around 28 by 5pm. Windy, with a southwest wind 30 to 35 mph, with gusts as high as 55 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 5 to 9 inches possible. Night: Snow before 11pm, then a chance of snow showers, mainly between 11pm and 5am. Low around 17. West wind 5 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Heavenly - Groomed conditions. California side is now open. 47% of their terrain is now open which means 2250 acres, 19 lifts and 66 runs are open. No new snow in the last 24 hours. The base depth is 32". Lift status. Snow. Temperature falling to around 19 by 5pm. Strong and damaging winds, with a southwest wind 65 to 70 mph decreasing to 60 to 65 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 110 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches possible.

Sierra-at-Tahoe - Groomed conditions on 26 of their 34 open trails. 7 lifts are open. Broadway Terrain Park and Burton Progression Park are open. No new snow in the last 24 hours. The base depth is 18" and the summit is 36". Lift status. Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Temperature falling to around 22 by 5pm. Windy, with a south southwest wind 32 to 39 mph, with gusts as high as 65 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 7 to 11 inches possible.

Kirkwood - Powder/ Packed powder. 54% of terrain is now open. 1250 of their 2300 acres are open with 8 lifts and 567 runs open. No new snow in the last 24 hours. Lift status. The base depth is 26". Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Temperature falling to around 21 by 5pm. Windy, with a south southwest wind 30 to 39 mph, with gusts as high as 65 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 9 to 13 inches possible.
