Douglas County Sheriff's Office is continuing their investigation into the October 6th disappearance of 17 year old Treasa Ramirez from the Rite of Passage in Minden, Nevada.
Ramirez, originally from Winnemucca, was a resident of ROP and apparently left the facility on foot. A bag of clothing apparently worn by the teen when she was last seen in her bedroom was found nearby.
It was originally thought that she was trying to make it back to Winnemucca but she has yet to return. Investigators believe she may be in the Reno/Spark area.
The Center for Missing and Exploited Children has been contacted. Anyone with any information is urged to contact Investigator Jeff Schemenauer at 775-782-9926 or Douglas County Dispatch at 775-782-5126.
