Investigation continues into the death of a South Lake Tahoe man

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The death of local resident Jorge Lemus Campos is still under investigation by the South Lake Tahoe Police Department (SLTPD).
Just before noon on Monday, December 16, SLTPD officers were called to a home in the 1000 block of Lodi Avenue and found the 61-year-old Campos deceased. A portion of Lodi Avenue was closed for the afternoon and into the night as officers investigated Campos's death. SLTPD was joined by the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office and District Attorney's office.
The road closed again in the area recently as a continuation of the investigation.
At this time the cause of death has not been released by SLTPD.
