TWCF is a collective giving organization created in 2015. Through a simple grant making process, the annual proceeds from membership provide financial support to nonprofits that address pressing issues facing the communities of Lake Tahoe.
Tahoe Women's Community Fund - $328,000 in annual giving to date

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - In just five years, the Tahoe Women’s Community Fund has been able to give $328,000 back to the community through 37 different non-profits on the South Shore.
Attached is their annual report for 2020.
Formed in 2015, the collective giving organization is able to support nonprofits that address pressing issues facing the community through a simple grant process. In 2020 they are awarding their most yet, $125,000.

What started as a conversation around the living room table in a South Lake Tahoe home has turned into a successful collective giving circle that has donated over $200,000 to the local community.
That one night has changed the lives of many as the Tahoe Women’s Community Fund (TWCF) formed under the guidance of Bill Roby and the El Dorado Community Foundation.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The Tahoe Women’s Community Fund has announced their 2019 grant recipients. This year, there were over 27 organizations who applied for the grants, with $84,000 being distributed to 14 non-profit organizations

The Tahoe Women’s Community Fund (TWCF) will be celebrating two local women during their annual Membership Celebration Dinner on Tuesday, October 30, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Tahoe Beach Retreat. Tickets are on sale now for $35 each and can be purchased online at tahoewomenscommunityfund.org.
Everyone is welcome to attend, and it is the perfect opportunity to get to know the organization if you are not already a member.
Tahoe Women's Community Fund announces winners of $68,000 in grants

The Tahoe Women's Community Fund (TWCF) has announced the non-profit organizations on the South Shore who have been selected to receive grants in the amount of $68,000.
During their 2018 grant cycle, over 25 organizations applied for grants and 13 of them are being supported by TWCF and will be honored during their Grants Gala
on Wednesday, May 16 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Tahoe Beach Retreat in South Lake Tahoe.

The Tahoe Women's Community Fund celebrated their third annual Membership Celebration this past Thursday at Harvey's. With over 150 in attendance, we celebrated the success of our collective giving circle! Dr. Guy Lease gave an inspiring keynote speech on "The Power of Education in Our Community", and Karin Holmes was honored as our first annual Woman of Distinction! The positive strength in the room was amazing!

The Tahoe Women's Community Fund (TWCF) would like to thank all the community members who came out last Wednesday for the Modern Family Premiere in support of local families! With a fun filled evening of raffle prizes, popcorn, and good company, 150 locals raised almost $6,000 for local families. These funds will go into the 2018 grant cycle of the TWCF and will be open for any eligible non-profit to apply for.

Ms. Lisa Maloff continues to impact the South Shore in a remarkable way. On May 18, 2017, Ms. Maloff gave a remarkable gift to the Tahoe Women’s Community Fund (TWCF). During the spring gala, which focused on the theme of impact, Ms. Maloff was able to experience the loving warmth in the room after her surprise gift of $100,000 was announced. The Tahoe Women's Community Fund has $29,000 to give to South Lake Tahoe non-profit groups and agencies who focus on five critical areas they've selected for funding in 2017. $10,000 grants will be given to those chosen whose focus is children and youth, and mental health and wellness. $3,000 will given in three grants: poverty and housing, education and literacy, and environment and the community.
The Request for Proposals are now available and due back February 28 at 5:00 p.m. They can be found HERE.

The Tahoe Women's Community Fund, a group of South Lake Tahoe women who have gathered together to give away money, has announced their inaugural grant cycle. Until February 29, organizations serving the community in four different areas can apply for a portion of the $22,000 to be given away.
