The South Lake Tahoe Moose Lodge 12TH Annual Kid’s Fishing Derby is being held this Sunday, September 22, at Tahoe Paradise’s Lake Baron. The Derby is FREE to all children under the age of 16. The lake is being stocked with thousands of trout just for this event.

Don't worry if you don't have fishing equipment: fishing poles, tackle, power bait, and worms are also provided free of charge, or bring your own if you want.

Tahoe Derby Dames, Live Flat Track Roller Derby will be at Bijou Community Park, 6 p.m. All ages, families welcome. This will be the last home bout of the season. The Dames Green Team will go against Merced's Grim Reap-Hers. TDD's Black Team will go against Reno's Battle Born Derby Demons. Gates open at 2 p.m. Spectators are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs as seating is limited. Tickets $10 in Advance and $12 at the door.

The Tahoe Derby Dames hosted another exciting double header on Saturday, July 21 at Bijou Park.
The first bout featured Tahoe's Green Team up against The North Bay Bruisers from Sonoma County. Although the Tahoe Green Team battled through the Bruisers' great defensive plays and scoring jammers, it wasn’t enough as the Bruisers won with a final score of 213 to 79.
