STATELINE, Nev. - Tahoe Douglas Fire Protection District (TDFPD) and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) took the first step in rolling out their campaign aimed at keeping drunk drivers off the roads by providing server intervention training to employees at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Lucky Beaver, Dotty’s, and Lake Tahoe AleWorX.

LAKE TAHOE, Calif./Nev. - The annual Tahoe Chamber Business EXPO will be held on Friday, May 29 from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Harrah's Tahoe. It was originally scheduled for March 27 but postponed due to coronavirus concerns.

LAKE TAHOE, Nev. - Revolt Tattoos, established by TV’s “Ink Master” alums, have opened a new parlor on the South Shore at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. The new spot was unveiled during a grand opening party on January 2 where guests were eligible for raffle prizes including a free four-hour tattoo.

Troopers from the Nevada Highway Patrol, as well as other employees for the Department of Public Safety will be volunteering their time to raise money for Special Olympics of Nevada and California on Thursday June 14, 2018. The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, located in South Lake Tahoe, is where all of the fun will be taking place during the lunch and dinner hours. Patrons will enjoy the NHP and other public safety employees serving as volunteer waiters and waitresses as they assist the restaurant staff that day while they work for “special tips.”
Man found dead at Hard Rock Hotel in Lake Tahoe

STATELINE - A man was found dead at a south shore Lake Tahoe casino hotel room Tuesday night with the suspect in the killing at large, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO).
The crime happened at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Lake Tahoe and the suspect is an adult female, according to the sheriff’s office.
DCSO deputies responded to the Hard Rock at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 3, for a death investigation of a male in one of their rooms.

The 38th Annual Freaker's Ball, Lake Tahoe’s largest, oldest and most extravagant Halloween party, brings the wild with a four-ring costume circus in the Convention Center, Opal Ultra Lounge and Blu Nightclub venues at MontBleu on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016, at 8:00 p.m. Cost is $35 prior to Saturday, then $40 at the door if tickets are available. After weeks of reported management problems at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in South Lake Tahoe, owners David and Jon Park have terminated their relationship with W-G Stateline and Warner Hospitality of Las Vegas. Instead, they will use on-site, local management.

Hard Rock Lake Tahoe to add outdoor concerts this summer

The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in South Lake Tahoe announced today they will be hosting six to eight outdoor concerts this summer.
The rear parking lot at the Stateline property will be converted into an outdoor amphitheater that will seat up to 7,500 people.
In a venture with PR Entertainment, Inc. (owned by former Caesars Entertainment Director Paul Reder), Hard Rock is looking to attract top-name national artists to the Lake Tahoe area. They plan on starting the concerts in June and concluding on Labor Day weekend.

It was a huge project, remodeling an aging hotel and casino that hadn't seen glory days in decades. Many thought seven months wasn't going to be enough time to turn the old Horizon casino into a fresh and new Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. All doubts were tossed aside Wednesday night as the epic rock and roll branded property opened up to large crowds, full bars and packed table games.

Three Olympic athletes from the inaugural USA slopestyle snowboarding team will arrive in South Lake Tahoe this spring to compete in Heavenly Mountain Resort’s signature event, High Roller Hold ‘Em, on Saturday, April 4, 2015. Olympic Gold Medalist Sage Kotsenburg will place his bets against fellow Olympians Billy Morgan and Chas Guldemond, as well as High Roller Hold ‘Em veterans Gjermund Braaten and Eric Willett.
