Fall Food Fest to benefit South Lake Tahoe schools

The Lake Tahoe Educational Foundation once again presents their major fundraiser of the year, the Fall Food Fest, on Saturday, October 10, 2015 from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Lake Tahoe.

The popular event raises money for local schools.

The Fall Food Fest is a great event to socialize and sample food, wine, and beer from many local businesses. These businesses include Mo’s Place, Blue Angel Café, Sprouts, Tahoe Blue Vodka, Steamers, Café Fiore, and more. There will be a silent auction for fun items such as gift baskets, and gift certificates to local hotels, restaurants and spas. A live auction will provide opportunities to bid on such items as luxurious vacations, a high end wine wheelbarrow, and the ever popular orthodontic treatment plan with Dr. Parigini.

Besides donating their event center for the evening, the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is offering a special room rate of $159.00 per night for those who want to make a whole weekend of the event.

All proceeds directly benefit South Tahoe school children. Each year the Lake Tahoe Educational Foundation awards over $50,000 in grants for enrichment programs serving nearly 4,000 students from every school in the Lake Tahoe Unified School District.
