Tahoe Regional Young Professionals Offers 'CPR for Business'

Tahoe Regional Young Professionals get down to business with this month’s professional development speaker, Third Alarm – an organization comprised of retired firefighters turned public speakers. The event is at the Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority Nevada offices, May 17 from 6:45 – 8 p.m., beginning promptly at 7 p.m.

Third Alarm is generously donating their time and expertise to present, “CPR for Business,” how the same management and leadership principles that brought them success to their firefighting careers, also brought them success to their business careers. Third Alarm “Class 1” principles and solutions improve individual, team and organizational performance in the areas of accountability, best practices, customer service, morale, motivation, productivity, teamwork and work ethic.

“CPR for Business” is a management and leadership process that is simple enough for firefighters to use on the run, yet flexible enough to be applied to every business situation. Discover this secret formula for success and ignite an organizational culture that is dedicated to being the best at whatever you do. TRYP representatives encourage members to invite colleagues, mentors, business owners, family, friends, etc. as this seminar is the must-attend event.

Following the professional development, TRYP will mingle at Lakeside Inn and Casino and Latin Soul. Lakeside is a frequent recipient of multiple Best of Tahoe™ awards, which are determined by locals. Perhaps it’s because of the property’s personalized approach to guest service, more intimate and laid back atmosphere, or diverse dining options with Latin Soul, a pan-Latin and Caribbean restaurant and the classic Timber House restaurant with American favorites. Lakeside is open 24-7 and is located at 168 Hwy 50 Stateline, NV 89449, across from the Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority and Lake Tahoe South Shore Chamber of Commerce offices.

Board members will be sporting their TRYP t-shirts and encourage others wear them to events.
Tahoe Regional Young Professionals (www.TahoeTRYP.org) finalized interviews of individuals seeking to leadership roles and will announce the new Board of Directors next week.
