Reno Open Studios

Reno Open Studios is an opportunity to visit the artist’s studios and see them at work. You will learn what inspires them, witness their techniques, and be stimulated by their passion for the creative process. We have artists who paint, make jewelry, silk painting, photography, baskets gourds, wood, textiles, and sculpture. The first annual Reno Open Studios tour kicked off in 2009 with 21 artists. Reno Open Studios is committed to arts education and has awarded scholarships to young, aspiring artists every year. This year, we will award a scholarship for continuing studies to a student in the UNR Art Department. To support this scholarship, most of our artists donate a piece of art and hold a raffle during the Reno Open Studios Gallery Crawl. The raffles are held at their studios and all donations and proceeds go to the scholarship fund.
