Reno Jazz Orchestra - Home for the Holidays

The Reno Jazz Orchestra is a 17-piece contemporary band based in Northern Nevada, that has just celebrated its 20th Anniversary. The band was formed in 1997 by musicians who have performed with acts such as Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Elvis Presley, Natalie Cole, and Luciano Pavarotti. Members have traveled the world with legendary performers Now the Reno Jazz Orchestra is bringing the spirit of Christmas with their " Home for the Holdays" shows. World-renowned trombone soloist Bob McChesney and dynamic entertainer and vocalist Calabria Foti are headlining the 17-piece orchestra this year.. The show will feature Bob McChesney who has distinguished himself as one of the preeminent soloists in the world, not only in the realm of jazz and improvisation, but as an interpreter of the most difficult and highly technical Classical repertoire, as well. Calabria Foti is just as gifted and accomplished and will share the stage with McChesney and the Reno Jazz Orchestra. Foti is a vocalist, violinist, composer, author, educator, and overall connoisseur of music from Classical to Broadway.
