Police make arrest in South Lake Tahoe drive by shooting

Kevin Gonzales, an 18-year-old local man, has been arrested in connection with a drive by shooting that occurred on December 28 at the Pioneer Inn in South Lake Tahoe.

Gonzales was arrested two days later after an investigation by the South Lake Tahoe Police Department (SLTPD) was launched into the shooting which took place at 10:00 p.m. at the motel, located on Pioneer Trail.

Detectives recovered the undamaged evidence in question at the time they arrested Gonzalez. No firearms have yet been recovered.
