The Lake Tahoe South Shore Chamber of Commerce's annual Connect for a Cause on January 18 had a great turnout from the community, bring in both cash and food donations for Bread and Broth.

Over 100 people attended the charity mixer at Riva Grill and they enjoyed appetizers and Riva Grill’s signature cocktail, Wet Woodies during the event.

"We’d like to thank Riva Grill for accommodating the event and providing the generous spread," said the Tahoe Chamber in a press release. "Tahoe Chamber would also like to thank Lauren Lindley Photography for delivering a mobile photo booth that allowed guests to try on costumes and take fun photos to remember the night.

The Tahoe Chamber also thanked all of the businesses that provided raffle prizes for the special evening. The businesses that donated include Artemis Mediterranean Grill, Cafe Fiore Ristorante Italiano, Elevated Fitness, Harrah’s Lake Tahoe, Heavenly Sports, Jamba Juice, Lake Tahoe Massage & Skincare, The Landing Resort & Spa, McP’s Taphouse, Tahoe Hemp Company, Tahoe Production House, Valhalla Tahoe, Vail Resorts and Verde Mexican Rotisserie.
