CANCELED - Go Pink at Heavenly for South Lake Tahoe cancer patients at Barton

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The 2nd annual Pink Heavenly will be held on Saturday, March 21 at Heavenly Mountain Resort. The Barton Foundation is inviting community members and visitors to register now and start fundraising for the fun event.

All proceeds from the slopeside fundraising event benefit Cancer Support Services at Barton Health, dedicated to improving the lives of community members fighting cancer.

Similar to a cancer run or walk, participants can sign up at PinkHeavenly.com to fundraise for the cause before sporting outrageous pink outfits at Heavenly Mountain Resort, where an all-day party will commemorate solidarity in the fight against cancer. The Foundation encourages individuals and teams to sign up now to get a head start on fundraising.

“We know cancer wellness programs make a difference and often they are not covered by insurance,” said Chris Kiser, Executive Director of the Barton Foundation. “This is a great opportunity for our community to come together and help those fighting cancer, and we have assembled lots of great prizes to incentivize participants as they raise money to support these wellness programs.”

All donations and registration fees from Pink Heavenly directly benefit community members living with all forms of cancer through access to Barton Health's Cancer Support Services. These services include movement classes, wellness and nutrition coaching, support groups, stress management programs, and acupuncture treatments.

A $25 registration fee allows you to start fundraising and culminates with a family-friendly deck party featuring live music, a pink-themed costume contest, prizes, and more. Pink Heavenly participants can honor a friend or loved one by skiing or riding in the “Celebration Ski Down” from the top of Heavenly’s First Ride Chair to the Heavenly California Base Lodge.
