Easter Egg hunts Friday, Saturday and Sunday in South Lake Tahoe

"Egg"citing week ahead for the younger residents, with Easter Egg hunts schedule around the South Shore.

The Tahoe Douglas Firefighter's Association will host their annual Tot Egg Hunt at Kahle Community Center on Friday, March 25 at 11:00 a.m. for kids ages 0 to 6. The Easter Bunny will be hiding eggs outside and the kids can climb on fire trucks during the event. Inside there will be a bounce house, indoor playground and refreshments. Bring a basket to collect eggs and a camera. Gym is open until 1:00 p.m.

The South Lake Tahoe Optimist Club will be holding their decades long tradition, their annual Easter Egg Hunt, on Saturday, March 26 at Lake Tahoe Community College at 11:00 a.m. There will be an Easter dress and hat competition, along with the traditional parade prior to the 11:00 egg hunt for over 3,400 eggs.

Also on Saturday, Easter fun at the Tahoe Tot Spot at 1012 Al Tahoe Blvd. Join them to decorate eggs and then the kids will be let loose to find eggs and treats hidden throughout the Spot. Decorating will happen from 11-12 and the hunt will start at 12:30. 530-541-5994.

The Lake Valley Fire Protection District is sponsoring a community Easter Egg hunt at Tahoe Paradise Park in Meyers, Calif., on Sunday, March 27, 2016 at 9:00 a.m.
Besides traditional eggs, there will be Golden Eggs with special prizes.
Bring cameras as the fire truck and Easter Bunny will be there for photos.

Hop on over to Sierra-at-Tahoe as they hold their annual Easter Eggstravaganza at Thunder Gulch on Sunday, March 27 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. On the new Solstice Plaza they'll have Easter activities for the whole family. The Easter Bunny has left behind egg-cellent treasures for all the kids to find, followed by an on-mountain Easter egg hunt for the kids at heart, so bring your basket and get ready for the hunt!
