Easter Egg Hunts on the South Shore Friday and Saturday

"Egg"stra special days for family fun!

On Friday, April 3, the Tahoe Douglas Firefighter's Association will be hosting an egg hunt for the young ones, ages 6 and under. The Easter Bunny will be hiding eggs outside and kids can climb on fire trucks. Come inside and enjoy the bounce house, indoor playground and refreshments. Bring a basket to collect eggs and a camera to catch the fun times! Hunt begins at 11:00 a.m. The gym will be open until 1:00 p.m.

The South Tahoe Optimists are hosting the 48th annual community egg hunt on Saturday, April 4. They will be hiding 2,500 eggs throughout the parking lot of Lake Tahoe Community College near the gym.

Children will be sorted by age group and an area will also be designated for children with special needs. Prizes will also be handed out.

10:30 a.m. - Easter Costume Parade
10:45 a.m. - Easter Bonnet Contest
11:00 a.m. - Egg Hunt by Age Group

Bring a basket or sack to hold your eggs. The Easter Bunny will visit all activities, so bring your camera! No Charge! Don’t be late! This is a free event for children ages 1-11 years old.

Note: Parents will not be allowed to enter any designated hunt areas with their child!
