South Lake Tahoe Optimist Club holds 50th annual Easter Egg Hunt

The 50th annual Easter Egg Hunt will be hosted by the South Tahoe Optimist Club on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at the Lake Tahoe Community College starting at 10:30 a.m.

Thousands of eggs will be hidden next to the college's gym. Since there is still snow it is suggested kids wear appropriate footwear.

Before the hunt, which starts right at the blowing of the horn at 11:00 a.m. there will be a Easter Costume Parade at 10:30 a.m. and Easter Bonnet Contest at 10:45 a.m..

Children will be sorted by age group and an area will also be designated for children with special needs. Prizes will also be handed out!

Be there early to get the best parking. Once the action starts it goes quickly!

Bring a basket or sack to hold your eggs. The Easter Bunny will visit all activities, so bring your camera, This is a free event for children ages 1-11 years old.

Note: Parents will not be allowed to enter any designated hunt areas with their child.
