Bread & Broth has open volunteer positions

Are you a Facebook whiz? Good with bookkeeping? Want to help connect local volunteers? Bread & Broth, an all-volunteer program to feed the hungry in the South Lake Tahoe community, currently has several volunteer positions available for qualified individuals. Letters of interest are being accepted for the following positions:

Communications Chairperson: The Communications Chairperson increases awareness of Bread & Broth's efforts through on-going activities including press releases, Facebook updates, flyers, and general community outreach. Responsible for quarterly advisory board meeting minutes and coordinating Adopt a Day sponsor volunteers.

Treasurer: The Treasurer is responsible for reviewing, approving and submitting expenditure reimbursement and invoices to church bookkeeper. The Treasurer records expense and donation income financial transactions using Microsoft Office programming. On a quarterly basis, reconciles church records for accuracy and generates an Advisory Board financial summary report.

Volunteer Coordinator: The Volunteer Coordinator is the contact person for individuals interested in volunteering with Bread & Broth. The Coordinator communicates with and processes new volunteers in the Bread & Broth database, meets with and assigns new volunteers to the various volunteer opportunities with the Organization as needed, and periodically updates the database and listings of assigned volunteers.
