Registration open for Barton's 23rd annual Golf Tournament

Event Date:
June 23, 2017 (All day)

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Polish your shoes and dust off your clubs because the Barton Foundation’s golf fundraiser is just around the corner.

The 23rd annual Barton Foundation Golf Tournament will take place Friday, June 23 at Lake Tahoe Golf Course. Attendees will golf, dine, and help an important cause: community health.

All proceeds from the event will support the Barton Foundation’s efforts to improve the health and well-being of South Shore residents. Some of the programs the Barton Foundation funds includes Barton Health’s wellness programs, hospice services, and children’s bereavement and diabetes camps. Each year, the Barton Foundation also provides $50,000 in community health grants.

“It’s great to see our community members out enjoying themselves on the course and coming together for a common cause,” said John Carlson, COO of Benefit Intelligence, and a Barton Foundation Trustee. ”This year we’ve changed things up a bit and are going with a more traditional, ‘preppy’ theme. So get out the argyle and come on down to support the health of our community.”

Golfers play the scramble game in teams of four. Golf registration includes continental breakfast, golf and golf cart, drink tickets, and a buffet lunch. Prizes will be awarded for best costume, team spirit, and the tournament winners.

Sign up for the early bird price of $165 per a player or $660 for a foursome. After May 10, the registration fee for individuals will go up to $185. Tickets for the golf tournament can be purchased at bartonhealth.org/golf.
