Another South Lake Tahoe murder suspect arrested, this time in Oklahoma

The fifth suspect in the January 30, 2016 murder of an Amador County man at the Beverly Lodge in South Lake Tahoe has been arrested. 26-year-old Dion Jermaine Vacarro, a former resident of Solano County, Calif., was arrested in Oklahoma City on suspicion of the murder on Dennis Wright, Jr. after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Wright brought 100-pounds of marijuana to town to sell, and was killed at the Beverly Lodge where he went to conduct the transactions according to police.

Vacarro was extradited to El Dorado County on Tuesday, 11 days after being arrested. He is currently a resident of the County Jail in Placerville on charges of both murder and domestic violence.

The murder investigation has taken South Lake Tahoe Police Detectives from California, to New Mexico, Texas and now Oklahoma for the arrests of the five suspects.

Also arrested on charges of murder are:
· 33-year-old Tevarez Lopez, of Georgetown, Calif., arrested April 28 in his hometown.
· 22-year-old Domenic Randolph arrested on April 19 in Harris County, Texas.
· 18-year-old Tristan Batten of Vallejo, Calif., was arrested Feb. 16 in Vallejo, Calif.
· 20-year-old Harvest Davidson of Antioch, Calif., was arrested Feb. 17 in Sacramento, Calif.

Vanessa Muzio, 18, was arrested February 27 in New Mexico and has been charged with accessory to murder.

This investigation remains active and progresses on a daily basis and more arrests are expected. The murder weapon in this case still remains outstanding. The outstanding suspects in this case are considered armed and dangerous.

"We continue to anticipate the arrest of additional outstanding suspects," said SLTPD Lt. Brian Williams. "Therefore, disclosing further information in terms of the specific roles and actions these arrestees took in the case would jeopardize the furtherance of our investigation." The murder weapon in this case still remains outstanding. Outstanding suspects in this case are considered armed and dangerous.
