H2uP Tahoe expands services in South Lake Tahoe

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. — Need a little help to stay hydrated? There are now two ways to take advantage of H2uP Tahoe, a concierge IV hydration and wellness clinic. You can utilize their mobile clinic that delivers treatments to your location or stop by Elevate Wellness at the new Crossing at Tahoe Valley in South Lake Tahoe.

Dehydration is common at high altitude and can be intensified by alcohol intake and physical activity. Their team of emergency physicians and nurses evaluates and treats you using a variety of IV fluids including with added electrolytes, vitamins, anti-nausea medication, acid reducing medication and headache relief treatments. Feel better faster. Get back to having fun at Lake Tahoe.

“We saw this as an opportunity to add to Elevate’s already robust wellness services and offer our clients another option for treatment in a beautiful, and relaxing environment,” said Dr. Targhee Oeveraas, H2uP founder and CEO.

In addition to adding a brick and mortar location to their practice, H2uP has also been offering services at some of Tahoe’s biggest events. The H2uP Tahoe tent at the Hard Rock Tahoe half marathon serviced more than 30 runners pre- and post- race and H2uP staff will be on hand at the Beach Retreat & Lodge Tahoe for July 4th festivities. They will also be available for concierge appointments July 4-5.

“With a large number of tourists in town who are trying to pack in all the Tahoe experiences dehydration and altitude sickness are common side effects,” Oeveraas explained. “Our treatments allow people to feel better fast and get back to their vacation.”

Oeveraas said Lake Tahoe’s altitude and dry climate along with holiday festivities that usually include alcohol, a diuretic, are usually to blame. In consultation with H2uP’s doctors, clients can receive added medications to their IV treatments that can ease headaches, nausea, and heartburn.

For people just looking for an energy boost or a beauty treatment H2uP’s Energize or Glow treatments that employ Vitamins B and C as well as powerful antioxidants that help with cellular regeneration are available.
