National Night Out at Regan Beach in South Lake Tahoe

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Join local public safety agencies on Tuesday, August 7 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for National Night Out at Regan Beach. South Lake Tahoe Police Department, El Dorado County Sheriff's Office, California Highway Patrol, South Lake Tahoe Fire Rescue, El Dorado County, Barton Heath, California Conservation Corps and the South Lake Tahoe Action Teams are all involved again this year.

National Night Out is annual nation-wide community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.

During the local 2017 National Night Out, booths with hands-on activities for the whole family were at the Magnet School in Meyers along with safety vehicles, K-9s and food.

This year there will a donation aspect to the event and attendees are encouraged to support the 2018 Toys for Tots Campaign by bringing a new, unwrapped toy.
