SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. This weekend marks the 35th annual Gatsby Festival and Tea at the Tallac Historic Site from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. August 10-11.

Celebrate life at Lake Tahoe in the 1920s. This free event includes exhibits, Vintage Market, food vendors, live jazz, antique vehicles, children's and family games, activities and more. 1920’s attire is encouraged but not required.

Enjoy a celebration of the Rip-Roaring ’20s with a variety of events including guided tours, vintage automobiles, historical talks, silent auction, family games and activities, food and drink.

Take the whole family and spend the day at these fabulous historic estates right on the shores of Lake Tahoe.

The Gatsby Festival is a free event for all ages, however, fees do apply for specific tours, ticketed events, and vendors throughout the festival.

There is a special Gatsby Tea on Sunday, August 11 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. - An afternoon Tea and Vintage Fashion Show - Tea Tickets $65. More information at www.tahoeheritage.org or call 530-544-7383.

Valhalla Tahoe, a non-profit operating partner with the USFS, Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit is an associate partner in the 2019 Gatsby Festival with the Tahoe Heritage Foundation. The Valhalla/Heller Estate is one of the three historic estates located at the Tallac Historic Site offering diverse cultural experiences. All proceeds to benefit Valhalla Tahoe’s mission to bring you world-class arts programming and historic preservation.
