South Lake Tahoe philanthropist Lisa Maloff treated the kids who attend the Lake Tahoe Boys and Girls Club (BGCLTG) to an end of summer party Friday. She loved being with the kids during the recent ribbon cutting ceremony the club had for her, and she wanted to continue the fun.
The day was a full one complete with four bounce houses, a balloon artist, face painting, DJ Grant Stewart, catered food by Chimayo and Wood Fire Pizzas, Sweet Spokes ice pops and seven flavors of Aquas Frescas. Magician Robert Hall from The Loft kicked off the day's activities with a special magic show.
BCGLT Executive Director Jude Wood said a lot of parents came and were able to spend time with their kids during the event, and there were also guest appearances from SLT City Council members, County Supervisors, BGCLT board members, SLT Fire and Police Departments. The SLTPD K9 unit supported by Mrs. Maloff also stopped by.
