The community is invited to the Mt. Tallac High School's fourth annual Meet & Greet on Friday, August 31, 2018 at 10:30 a.m.
Join students and staff for snacks and conversations. They are working hard at Mt. Tallac to continue the legacy of success by building strong relationships with parents, students and community partners.
"At Mt. Tallac, we focus on work ethic and a positive student-centered learning environment where students learn necessary skills to become contributing citizens," said Sara Justice, the school's new Alternative Education Coordinator. "We feel strongly that by providing our students with the opportunity to meet and interact with potential employers and successful adults within our community, it will promote and support our efforts and motivate students as we begin a new school year."
Each year's event has enabled the students to feel a true sense of community as they interact with business owners and other locals for the first time.
Mt. Tallac High School is located at the end of 13th Street at the base of the South Tahoe High School football field.
