South Lake Tahoe Police Canine Association Gears up for 5th Annual K9 Trails

The South Lake Tahoe Police Canine Association (SLTPCA) will be hosting the 5th annual K9 Trials on September 21st and 22nd. Sponsorship opportunities and advertising space is available in the 2012 event program ranging in cost from $50-$300.

The SLTPCA is a non-profit organization and your sponsorship contributions are tax deductible.

As a result of the support received from the community in past years, the police department was able to purchase a new agitator suit six months ago and a second K9, Argo, two years ago. Your donation for this year’s event will assist SLTPCA with the cost of hosting the event, purchase of much needed equipment and additional training for our K9 teams.

SLTPCA is asking for your support by purchasing advertising space in the program and/or by donating raffle prizes. Please consider placing special offers or discounts in your advertising space. The event program will be distributed to all spectators at the K9 Trials.

It is anticipated that 50 K9 teams from police departments throughout California and Nevada will compete in the competition.

The narcotics trials will be held on Friday, Septembers 21st at the Royal Valhalla Motor lodge at 2pm.

The patrol dog competition will be held at the Babe Ruth Little League Field on Saturday, September 22nd beginning at 8am.
