During Tuesday's meeting of the Lake Tahoe Unified School District Trustees, Board President, Barbara Bannar, administered the "Oath of Office" to this year's designated Student Representative, South Tahoe High's ASB President Kendra Conard.
Conard, 17, said she is looking forward to her year as the representative on the board.
As ASB President, Conard said her main goals this year will be to get more students involved in school activities, for them to get more school spirit, and to connect the South Lake Tahoe community more with South Tahoe High and their students.
Conard, an ace softball player with the South Tahoe High Vikings, has already been offered a spot at South Dakota State.
