There will be no left turns coming out of Granlibakken Dr., Cathedral Dr, and Sequoia Ave between 6:50 AM and 7:20 AM as the runners move south on the Northbound Lane.
After the delay for the start of the Marathon, runners will move to the shoulder of the road or bike path all the way to Pope Beach finish line.
Visitors going from SLT to Emerald Bay should plan to go at 1 PM or later.
The California Highway Patrol will stop north bound traffic at the following locations:
— 1/2 miles south of Fanny Bridge at Granlibakken Dr. and Cathedral Dr. at 6:50 AM for 30 minutes for the Marathon start.
— 1 mile south of Fanny Bridge at Sequoia Ave at 6:50 AM for 30 minutes for the Marathon start.
— 1.5 miles south of Fanny Bridge at the bike path crossing on H89at 6:50 AM for 30 minutes for the Marathon start.
— 23 miles south of Tahoe City near Spring Creek Road or 5 miles north of South Lake Tahoe city limits from 7AM to Noon.

Actual Race Start times
— Race start times from Tahoe City are: 6:30 Am for walkers (no traffic controls) and 7 AM for the Marathon Runners.
— The Homewood 20 Mile Power Walk/Run will start at 7:00 am in Homewood with minimal delays.
— Traffic will be stopped 100 yards northbound of Rubicon Realty by Glen Dr. at 9:15 a.m. for the start of the Half Marathon.
— Traffic will be stopped in both directions for the 10K runners starting at 8:00 a.m. until 8:40 a.m. between Inspiration Point and Spring Creek Road. The Highway Patrol will sweep that 3 mile stretch at that time before the 10K race starts. Shuttle buses and emergency vehicles are excepted.
