Missoula Children's Theater returns to South Lake Tahoe for 30th season

Tahoe Arts Project is welcoming back Missoula Children's Theater for the 30th time in South Lake Tahoe. This year they will be presenting "Rumpelstiltskin."
There are over 60 roles for local youth ages 5-17 who are already in school. For those unfamiliar with the production, the theater group comes to town on a Monday for auditions, holds rehearsals Tuesday through Friday, then have two performances on Saturday.
Auditions will be held at Tahoe Valley Elementary on Monday, October 17 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Rehearsals will be held from 4:00 p.m.to 8:30 p.m.(depending on the child's role) Tuesday through Friday, then on Saturday, October 22, performances at Tahoe Valley Elementary will be at 3:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
The auditions are free. If chosen for a role, there is a fee of $50 per child.
