Finalists named for 12th annual Blue Ribbon Awards

LAKE TAHOE, Ca./Nv. – Tahoe Chamber's 12th annual Blue Ribbons Awards will be held on Thursday, November 14 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Harrah's Lake Tahoe. The event honors and celebrates South Shore businesses and individuals.

The cost of the event is $65 for Tahoe Chamber members and $85 for non-members and includes champagne upon arrival, a 3-course dinner and a glass of wine.

After weighing each nomination against the award criteria, the Blue Ribbon Awards Committee has determined the three finalists in each award category. The winners will be announced during the awards presentation.

This year’s event will include some new elements, including a raffle. Three large prizes will be raffled off throughout the awards dinner to raffle ticket holders, including a two-night stay for up to eleven guests in Yosemite National Park, a one-night stay and breakfast for two at the Renaissance Reno Downtown Hotel, and a breathtaking Tahoe painting by Talia Koval, an artist who will be live painting throughout the event. Also new to the event; an art auction to celebrating the local creative culture in the South Shore. The Chair’s Reception will feature several works hosted by Benko Art Gallery, and each dinner table centerpiece will have been created by a different maker, artist or creative individual.
