The Bread & Broth program at St. Theresa Catholic Church is observing its 27th anniversary of serving meals to community members in need by offering a special Thanksgiving dinner on Monday November 21 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Grace Hall located at 1401 Lyons Avenue in South Lake Tahoe, CA.
The meal is open to all members of the community just as it has been every Monday at Grace Hall since 1989.
The volunteers at Bread & Broth are asking for community donations to supply key ingredients for the meal: Carrots, celery, mushrooms, onions, oranges, fresh cranberries, sausage, and butter. Cash donations are also greatly appreciated.
With your help, we expect to serve 300 diners a delicious traditional Thanksgiving meal.
If you have any questions, please contact Kathie Olsen at jk.olsen@sbcglobal.net or 530-600-3605.
