Winterfest and Holiday Faire – Concerts and crafts at Valhalla this weekend

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - A weekend-long celebration of the holidays will be at the historic Valhalla Grand Hall and Boathouse Theater November 16-18, 2018.

The annual Valhalla Holiday Faire will feature a variety of local and regional arts and crafts vendors, a Grand Hall decked out in traditional holiday style, refreshments from their bar, photos with Santa and the Valhalla raffle and holiday cheer to kick off the season in true Tahoe style.

The Holiday Craft Faire in the Grand Hall is open on November 16 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., November 17, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and November 18, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There is no admission fee.

New this year are two musical performances in the Boathouse Theatre. An evening concert on Saturday features the highly acclaimed Oakland Jazz Choir who will feature a fun selection of holiday and popular music. Tickets are required for the evening performance. On Sunday afternoon there is a free performance of the Lake Tahoe Children's Choir featuring students from local schools in grades 3-12 at 4:00 p.m. (Tickets can be purchased here)
