New Douglas County Sheriff's deputy sworn in

ouglas County Sheriff Ron Pierini has announced the appointment of Bryan Veil as the newest Douglas County Deputy Sheriff. Veil was sworn in on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 in a ceremony held at the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office in Minden, Nevada.
The appointment comes as a result of several months of testing and evaluation consisting of a physical agility test, oral interview, extensive background investigation, psychological evaluation, polygraph examination, and medical exam.
Deputy Veil will begin his career at Douglas County Sheriff’s Office in the Jail Division. Deputy Veil transferred from the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.
